 Abstract:  Chax Press is a small, Tucson based publishing house founded in 1984. Since opening they have published hundreds of books by creative, and innovative poets. They are known for their unique style of books that include both soft-bound offset books as well as hand-printed limited editions, combining both complex visual dynamics and more various book structures throughout all of their letterpress books. This collection contains business materials, book development materials, published manuscripts, and illustrative plates and blocks used by the press, as well as correspondence with authors.

 Abstract:  The Jay Rochlin video cassettes measure 3 linear feet and consist of 22 U-matic and 2 VHS tapes of television news stories produced, directed and hosted by Jay Rochlin for the UA Alumni Association and KGUN 9, the Tucson ABC affiliate. Also included are interviews, program research material and outtake audio on five ¼” audio tapes. Produced between 1977 and 1985, program topics are centered primarily on Southern Arizona and the University of Arizona.
